Welcome to 

The McCurry Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation based in Jacksonville, Florida. Our Mission is to provide needed financial assistance to college and university students who have exhibited the qualities of leadership, responsible work ethic and academic excellence.  In the seventeen years of our program (1998 - 2014), we have awarded over 300 grants.  First year grants average $1,000 - $1,250.

Scholarship Qualifications
Our Scholarship program is open to all public high school seniors with preference given to applicants from Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties, Florida and from Glynn County, Georgia. Our program emphasizes leadership in the schools and communities, work ethic evidenced by the student’s employment during high school and academic excellence demonstrated by consistently maintaining a high G.P.A. In addition, applicants must demonstrate financial need and community involvement and service.  A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required and family income cannot exceed a maximum of $75,000 (AGI). 

No consideration is given to an applicant’s race, religion, sex, age, nationality, physical handicap or sexual orientation.

How Do I Apply?
Download and print the application form and mail it to us with the required attachments. Application deadline is February 15th. Awards are made no later than June for the Fall semester. 

Previous recipients may apply for a grant renewal by application which will be mailed to their permanent address in March with a deadline of May 31st. Renewal awards will be made by June.
