Aging Matters Scholarship: Due May 15th, 2017 
Award: $1500
Application Requirements:
  • An existing college student or incoming freshman (to be enrolled in the Fall of 2017 in good academic standing)
  • Attending any 2 year or 4 year accredited college or university as a full-time student
  • Complete and submit the application form.
  • Judging will be based on the submission quality of the application, which will include a short, 1000 word or less essay on why Aging Matters to the applicant.

Planet Dish Network: Due August 1st, 2017
Award: $500
Application Requirements: 
  • Research – Learn about the top streaming providers, why people are streaming, how they are streaming, how standard TV has changed, etc.
  • Write – In 400 to 600 words, explain how streaming TV has changed the entire TV landscape and changed how people perceive and watch TV. Be sure to include one professional citation.
  • Apply – Fill out the form the Dish Website

#Scholarship for dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military

​Military Commander's Scholarship
Deadline: February 17, 2017
​

The New York Chapter of the American Logistics Association sponsors up to 15 $5,000 scholarships for dependent children of active duty, reserve, National Guard or retired members of the United States military who hold valid Exchange & Commissary shopping privileges at the time of application.  Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who plan to enroll for the first time in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the fall.  Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.  Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need will also be considered. More information is available at sms.scholarsapply.org/militarycommanders.

Book Industry Charitable Foundation (Binc) Scholarship ProgramDeadline: March 6, 2017
The Binc Scholarship Program is open to bookstore employees, bookstore owners, former Borders employees and dependents* of bookstore employees, owners and former Borders employees who plan to enroll in full or part-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for at least half of the 2017-2018 academic year.
*Dependents include children under the age of 25, spouses and qualified same-sex partners.

Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with DisabilitiesDeadline: January 17, 2017 or until 700 applications are submitted, whichever comes first
The Wells Fargo Scholarship Program for People with Disabilities is designed to help people with disabilities obtain the education or training necessary to succeed in the career path of their choice.
To apply, you must have an identified disability (defined as someone who has, or considers themselves to have, a long-term or recurring issue that impacts one or more major life activity). Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates who are planning to enroll (or who are already enrolled) in full- or half-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the 2017-2018 academic year.
The program will award $2,500 renewable scholarships for full-time students and $1,250 renewable scholarships for half-time students. Visit https://scholarsapply.org/pwdscholarship for more information and to apply
