Students are no longer required to take ACT or SAT exams for their hopeful admissions to George Washington University. But, does that mean you still shouldn't submit the scores now that they are optional? GWU uses a holistic approach to their admissions practice. Thus, if you believe you are a well-rounded individual, that has an impressive academic background with a strong focus in particular activities(s) where you won't need to emphasize your resume with ACT and SAT scores then don't submit the scores. Many private, elite universities and colleges are recognizing the culturally biased test which often doesn't reflect a student's potential. Therefore, if you aren't the best test taker and think the ACT/SAT may limit your options consider this list of colleges that make testing optional.
