Stamps Scholarship application:
University of Florida Stamps Leadership Scholarship
The Stamps Leadership Scholarship program at the University of Florida began during the 2010-11 academic year. Stamps Scholars are part of UF’s John V. Lombardi Scholarship Program, which was established in honor of the former university president. Scholars receive an annual stipend and participate in four summer enrichment opportunities—five weeks in Merida, Mexico; an outdoor leadership experience; a ten-day service trip to Peru; and a three-week trip to South Africa.
Admission Process for the Stamps Scholarship
Stamps Scholars at the University of Florida are chosen from the same applicant pool as the Lombardi Scholars. Each Florida high school may nominate one student, and approximately 20 students will be chosen for on-campus interviews. The selection committee then chooses the scholarship recipients.

Edmunds Scholars are students who exhibit exemplary academic and personal leadership.
The J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship Program is a nationally competitive merit-based college scholarship program designed to attract top student scholars with leadership potential to Stetson University's campus. The scholarship pays expenses for four years at Stetson for students who exhibit exemplary academic and personal leadership. Edmunds Scholars, in addition to their academic abilities and intelligence, must have strong character and integrity along with the potential to be outstanding leaders. Intellectual distinction alone is insufficient for selection as an Edmunds Scholar. Edmunds Scholars, like Rhodes Scholars, are chosen based on a combination of their intellectual excellence, personality, and leadership. Candidates should have active co-curricular involvement, participation in athletics or physical fitness activities, discipline, integrity, character, strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and the potential to be well-rounded leaders and contributors in the Stetson University community.
