Only NINE Positions Where Women Earn More than Men

3/25/2015

Since this country's inception we've know the paradox of the phrase "all men are created equal". Since then our country has evolved. But not enough. There is still a tremendous salary disparity gender and race. Below is glimpse of the gap between women and men. However, should you be non-white, whether male or female, the disparity is much greater. How difficult is it for the payroll department to have equal pay across gender and race? What are some ways these income inequalities can be combated? I would love to hear your comments below.

Zenni #Poetry  #Scholarship - Due 4/1

3/4/2015

ZENNI'S SCHOLARSHIP POETRY CONTESTAre you a poet and you know it? No, keep your kicks on. You don’’t have to prove that your feet show it. Prove it this way: Enter Zenni Optical’’s poetry contest, and you could win a scholarship for $3,000, $2,000, or $1,000. Just write a poem in 250 words or fewer on this topic: Growing up with Glasses: The Formative Four-Eyed Years. So channel your inner Tupac —– but keep it clean! — and tell us in a poem that rhymes or doesn’’’t how wearing glasses as a kid affected your life.

So get creative with your words. But we don’’’t want any poems about anyone who has ever lived in Nantucket. Or Venus. Remember: Good prose is words in the best order. Good poetry is the best words in the best order. Good luck!

Winners announced on or around August 1, 2015
